How to choose kids learning printables
Everything in this collection is built for the stretch between two and ten, when a child moves from holding a crayon in a fist to writing a sentence. Parents use these sheets at the kitchen table for twenty minutes after school; nurseries and preschools print them as centre work. If you are buying for a child who is not reading yet, look for packs that put a picture beside every word, because those sheets still work when an adult is not sitting alongside.
Choose by the skill you want to practise rather than the age printed on the pack, since children move fast at this stage and the range is wide. Pick one thing your child is close to managing alone - curves before letters, counting to ten before addition - and start with a single pack to see how many sittings it really covers. Read the page count and the format list too: full colour pages look lovely and cost far more ink, so check whether the pack you want carries a greyscale copy as well - the product page lists every file in the download.
Once you know a style works, the bundle is where the money is. A bundle gathers the sheets a single pack leaves out - the rest of the letters, the harder number range, the seasonal versions - into one file, so the price per sheet lands well under the single-pack rate. Before you add a second pack to the cart, open the bundle that contains it and compare the page counts - if the bundle already covers most of what you were about to buy, it is the cheaper route by a wide margin.
