About this printable
Phonics packs are usually sold as scattered topics, leaving the parent to work out the order. This bundle is arranged as a route instead, in the sequence a school would actually teach.
It runs single letter sounds, then beginning sounds, then blending into CVC words, then word families, then digraphs, then blends, then the sight words that refuse to follow the rules. Plain paper is fine for worksheets; use 160-300 gsm card for anything you plan to cut out, and laminate or slide pages into a wallet when they need to survive a dry-wipe pen.

What order should I teach the letters in?
Many teachers start with s, a, t, i, p, n because those letters make the most simple words early. Our letter-of-the-week packs follow that order, but you can use them in any sequence.
Are these UK or US phonics?
The packs use letter sounds that work for both. Where spelling differs we note it in the product description.
Do flashcards need special paper?
No. Regular paper works. For cards that last, print on 160-300 gsm card or laminate them.
