How to download your files

Everything on this site is a digital download. Nothing is posted, and there is no delivery date to wait for. You pay, and the files are yours within seconds. This page walks through exactly what happens, and what to do on the rare occasion something does not.

The short version. Your download links appear on screen the moment payment clears, and the same links are emailed to you. Links stay live for 72 hours and allow 5 downloads per file. Save the files to your own device and they are yours for good.

The four steps, start to finish

  1. Add what you want to the cart Nothing is charged and nothing is reserved at this stage. You can keep browsing and add more. There is no account to create and no password to remember.
  2. Enter your email address at checkout This is the only detail we really need, because it is where your files go. Use an address you can open easily on the device you plan to print from. A work address behind a strict spam filter is the most common reason an order email goes missing.
  3. Pay by card, UPI, NetBanking, wallet, Apple Pay or Google Pay Payment is taken on the Razorpay or Stripe systems, not on ours, so your card details never reach us. Wait for the payment screen to finish and return you to the shop rather than closing the tab.
  4. Download from the confirmation page, and from your email The confirmation page lists every file you bought, each with its own button. The same list arrives by email at the same moment. Either one works.

If your order has more than one file, each file has its own link and its own download count. Larger packs arrive as a ZIP, which is one file holding several others. On Windows, right click a ZIP and choose Extract All. On a Mac, double click it. On a phone, tap it and choose unzip or extract.

What the limits mean

There are two numbers on every download link, and it is worth knowing what each one does.

Time: 72 hours

A link works for 72 hours (3 days) from the moment you buy. The limit exists because a link that never expires is a link that ends up shared. It is not a limit on how long you may keep the files.

Count: 5 downloads per file

Enough to save the same file on a phone, a laptop and a school computer, with room for a download that fails part way. Printing is never counted.

Both limits stop at the download. Once a file is saved on your device it is yours: open it, print it, back it up, keep it for years. Nothing checks in with us afterwards and nothing stops working later.

So the one thing worth doing on the day you buy is saving the files somewhere permanent. A folder on your computer, or your own cloud storage, is safer than leaving them in a downloads folder or in the email.

Downloading on a phone or tablet

The links open in any mobile browser. Where the file lands depends on the device.

  • iPhone and iPad. The file is usually saved to the Files app, under Downloads or iCloud Drive. Look there rather than in Photos.
  • Android. The file goes to your Downloads folder. Open it from the notification, or from the Files or My Files app.
  • Either device. Tapping a link and then closing the browser too quickly can stop the download part way. Wait for it to finish before you switch apps.

If you plan to print, opening the email on a computer is usually easier than sending the file across from a phone. Another reliable route is to save the file to your own cloud storage from the phone, then open that folder on the computer your printer is connected to.

If something goes wrong

Download problems nearly always fall into one of the six below, and every one of them is fixable. Nobody is left without the thing they paid for.

The email has not arrived

Check your spam, junk or promotions folder first, then search your whole mailbox for the order id or for WorksheetJar. Filters catch order emails far more often than mail is lost. The same links are on the confirmation page you saw right after paying, so you can download from there while you look.

I closed the confirmation page too soon

Nothing is lost. The confirmation page and the email carry the same links, so open the email instead. If the email is missing as well, write to us with the address you paid with and we will send the links again.

The link says it has expired

A link stops working after 72 hours (3 days), and that is normal rather than a fault. Send us your order id and we will issue a fresh link. There is no charge for this and no limit on how often you can ask.

I have used up my downloads

Each file allows 5 downloads. If you have reached the limit, ask us for a reset. Once a file is saved on your device you can open and print it as many times as you like, because the limit counts downloads, not prints.

The file will not open

Make sure the download finished before you opened it, then open the PDF in a proper reader or a desktop browser rather than a phone preview pane. If the file still will not open, tell us the device and the app you tried and we will replace it.

I typed my email address wrongly at checkout

Write to us from the address you meant to use and include the order id, the amount and the date. We will check the order and send the links to the correct address.

Still cannot get your files?

Write to us and we will sort it out. Include your order id, the email address you paid with, and a line about what your screen shows. That is usually enough for us to fix it on the first reply rather than the third.
