About this printable

Cursive is taught badly when letters are practised in alphabetical order, because the joins matter more than the letters. This pack groups letters by how they start and how they leave, so each new letter builds on the movement already learned.

It begins with the four entry strokes, then the letter families that share them, then the joins between pairs, then words, then full sentences. Every page uses proper three-line guides with a dashed midline, and the model letters fade across each row so the child gradually writes unaided.

Sixty pages, black and white, A4 and US Letter. Answer-free by nature, but a stroke-order reference sheet is included for the adult. Personal and single-classroom use.

Plain paper is fine for worksheets; use 160-300 gsm card for anything you plan to cut out, and laminate or slide pages into a wallet when they need to survive a dry-wipe pen.
