About this printable
This is the smallest pack in the shop, and it is meant to be. Three short sets - letters, numbers and shapes - seventeen tracing pages in total, enough for a first week of sitting down together without committing to anything.
The letter set covers A, B and C, each one a page for the capital and a page for the small letter, with the guide lines a small hand needs. The number set runs one to five, a page each, traced and then written alone. The last set is six shapes to trace: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval and diamond, which is the quiet groundwork for handwriting, because a child who can trace a curve and a corner can later form a letter.
Everything prints black and white on ordinary paper, so the whole pack costs almost nothing in ink. The download holds two files, one laid out for A4 and one for US Letter, and every page sits well inside the strip at the edge that a home printer cannot reach. Plain paper is fine for worksheets; use 160-300 gsm card for anything you plan to cut out, and laminate or slide pages into a wallet when they need to survive a dry-wipe pen.
