About this printable

Long car journeys go better with something to do that is not a screen. This pack is a set of games that need nothing but the pages and a pencil, designed so a child can play alone in a back seat without help from the driver.

There are bingo boards at two levels (picture boards and 5x5 word boards), point-scored spotting hunts for motorway and countryside routes, a number plate game, cut-out would-you-rather cards and a simple travel journal for recording the day: a game pack for the whole car, ages 4 to 11. Laminate the bingo boards and they can be used with a dry-wipe pen every trip.

Thirty-two pages, A4 and US Letter, printing fine in black and white so a whole set costs very little to run off before a trip. Print a fresh copy for each child, or laminate one set and keep it in the glovebox for every journey. Personal and single-family use, so you can reprint as often as you need without buying it again.

Plain paper is fine for worksheets; use 160-300 gsm card for anything you plan to cut out, and laminate or slide pages into a wallet when they need to survive a dry-wipe pen.

What the licence allows
