About this printable

Number bonds are the pairs that make a total, and knowing them by heart is what lets a child add and subtract without counting on fingers. This pack works through bonds to 10 first, then to 20, using the same three models a school would use so the sheets sit alongside classroom work rather than confusing it.

Each total gets a part-whole circle page, a ten frame page and a missing number page, so the same fact is met three different ways. Later sheets mix the totals up and remove the pictures, which is the point at which recall replaces counting. Full answer keys are at the back.
