About this download
Forty logo marks built from eight frame shapes - round, oval, hexagon, scalloped, arch, rectangle, laurel wreath and banner - each offered with five different arrangements of the wording: two large initials, a business name with an established year, three stacked words, a single spaced line, and one big letter.
Every mark is an SVG whose letters are real editable text. Open one in Inkscape, which is free, or Illustrator, Affinity, Figma or Canva Pro, click the letters and type your own. Nothing has to be traced and no font needs installing - the files name a stack that ends in a generic serif and sans.
The nine page PDF guide is about choosing rather than drawing. It gives a thirty second test for judging a mark (shrink it to a thumbnail, print it in black), explains how to turn one mark into the three versions a business actually needs - full mark, short mark, wordmark - and covers colour, reversing and where to use each version.
One honest limit, stated plainly in the licence: because this kit is sold to many people, you may not register a mark from it as a trade mark. It is an excellent way to work out what you want - and a good brief to hand a designer if you later want something drawn for you alone.

Printing tips for the best result
Print at 100% or "actual size" rather than "fit to page", otherwise the margins shift and the pages stop lining up. Digital are both included, so pick whichever your printer is loaded with. Plain paper is fine for worksheets; use 160-300 gsm card for anything you plan to cut out, and laminate or slide pages into a wallet when they need to survive a dry-wipe pen.
What the licence allows
Your purchase covers personal use and use in a single classroom by one teacher. Print as many copies as you need for your own family or class.
