A letter of the week programme falls apart in about week four, when the planning time runs out and the same worksheet gets printed again. The practice pages are black and white, so a full week costs very little to print.

Plain paper is fine for worksheets; use 160-300 gsm card for anything you plan to cut out, and laminate or slide pages into a wallet when they need to survive a dry-wipe pen.

What order should I teach the letters in?
Many teachers start with s, a, t, i, p, n because those letters make the most simple words early. Our letter-of-the-week packs follow that order, but you can use them in any sequence.
Are these UK or US phonics?
The packs use letter sounds that work for both. Where spelling differs we note it in the product description.
Do flashcards need special paper?
No. Regular paper works. For cards that last, print on 160-300 gsm card or laminate them.
