These fruits and vegetables flashcards build food vocabulary for toddlers and early readers with one clear picture and one word per card. Parents use them at snack time, nursery staff use them beside a shopping role play corner, and English language teachers use them as a first food unit for learners of almost any age.
Sixty cards split evenly into thirty fruits and thirty vegetables. They cover everyday produce such as apple, banana, mango, grape, tomato, potato, carrot and spinach, alongside items a child sees in an Indian kitchen including okra, bottle gourd, pomegranate and green chilli. Word only cards are supplied for word to picture matching, and the set adds a fruit and vegetable sorting mat, a colour sorting page, a count and colour worksheet, and a market shopping list template that gives pretend play a purpose.

Plain paper is fine for worksheets; use 160-300 gsm card for anything you plan to cut out, and laminate or slide pages into a wallet when they need to survive a dry-wipe pen.
