About this printable

A sorting station is the most reliable colour activity in an early years room, because a child can work at it alone for as long as it holds their interest and an adult can see at a glance whether it is right. This set builds twelve of them. Each colour gets a large mat, a header label, a matching wall poster and a set of object cards to post onto it, all in one visual style so the room looks planned rather than collected.

The 41 pages also handle the parts that usually get improvised. Colour word labels in three sizes fit tray fronts, drawer edges and display headers.
